Privacy Policy

Gaiqi is a city stamp-collecting app. We minimize collection, explain our practices, and do not sell personal information.

Data we process

• Location: processed on your device to calculate distance and arrival status. Precise location is not uploaded to the account service or included on share cards.
• Account: when you choose to sign in, we process an Apple sign-in identifier or email address and an internal Gaiqi account ID.
• Stamp book: when sync is enabled, we store stamp point IDs, first collection dates, and a random seed used to reproduce the stamp texture.
• Service records: the server records an opaque request ID, path, status, and duration for security and troubleshooting. It does not log codes, tokens, precise location, or stamp-book contents.

Photos and sharing

Share cards are generated on device. System sharing does not request Photos access. Add-only access is requested only when you choose Save Image.

Use and sharing

We use data only for sign-in, verification emails, stamp-book sync, account recovery, security, and support. We do not run third-party ads, track you across apps, or sell personal information. Apple, map, and email providers process the limited data needed to provide their services under their own policies.

Retention and deletion

Account and synced stamp-book data are retained while you use the account. You can permanently delete the account from the Profile screen. The account identity, sessions, and synced stamps are then deleted from Gaiqi, except where retention is legally required. Guest stamps remain only on the current device and may be lost if the app is removed.
